Send code email on checkin day
Many people book months in advance and lose the code email and require me to look up their code. I’d say I have to do this with 20% of my guests. Would it be possible to add a feature that automatically resends the guest code on the day of checkin or even just delay the original email until the day of checkin?

JesseI agree, It would be beneficial to be able to set the defaults for when the emails are sent. I would rather not have the email sent at time of booking so when there is a cancellation the guest that cancels does not have the additional information that I include in the email. I would prefer to be able to set defaults so that it is sent one week before and the day before check in.

JesseAirbnb gives guest check in info three days before their reservation. The email should coincide with this information.

DomIt should be possible to specify when the email gets sent per location/site as this may vary from one property to another. It should also be possible to expose the code via an API so that other authorised apps can pick it up and use it.

Mike DykeOr provide an alternative guest email template so a reminder email could be sent after the original guest email.

Rob Goff AdminThis feature is available and can be configured both when creating a new guest in the app or when guest are created automatically via an integration with Airbnb, VRBO or others.
To configure for integrations, read this article: https://support.remotelock.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025697071-Guest-Email-and-Message-Time-Scheduling
To set when creating a guest in the app, enter the guests email, then instead of choosing "Send Now", select the option to send the day before or day of their stay. -

Jim FHi Rob, it was great to see this. But I cannot find a way to _automatically_ set these to send for a user. On my end it looks like once I add an email address, I still have to click the "envelope" icon and click "Save Selected Notifications" in order for this to get in the queue to be sent at the scheduled times.

Rob Goff AdminJim,
To set automated messages at a global level, go to the Advanced section in the upper menu bar, then select Automated Emails. Next, select Guest Message Times from the left menu. Here you can set emails to be automatically send for newly created Guests.
