Allow users to be disabled / enabled
There is NO WAY to disable a user - you can only delete them completely! I have many needs to enable and disable users, it's a very basic function that should be added!

SteveTotally agree. There are many situations, known and unknown, where simple access denial would be invaluable (from suspected theft, to seasonal access blocking, to wet paint, to broken toilets, etc.). Setting a simple flag to disable (that would normally default to enabled) is certainly easier than destroying and recreating a record. Reloading a record also introduces the risk of introducing access errors....

Anthony Battelle MergedA deactivated user profile, should have a reactivate button instead of a deactivate button you have now. Which Incidentally only deletes the user since the user was already deactivated anyway.
Then we could say deactivate a vendor or service person, but reactivate them again when needed without having to recreate an account. -

KVictory Mergedin need of the capability to create and maintain a user to have in the system (with the same code) and enable/disable the user when needed (not on a scheduled basis)

Kevin DuffThis is basic functionality that needs to be added! Our club works on a membership model. When we have a member who's membership expires before they renew their membership, their account expires and changes from active to deactive. And there is no way to reactivate them. We could delete the guest and create a new one but this is problematic because then they need a new pass code. Extending the expiry date and reactivating the guest would allow them to use the same PIN.
